Final Text for Poster
The Omega Tower is a depiction of how the integration of digital computation fabrication and physical design models interlock to design a flowing natural essence design. As set out the modelling proposal states: Parametricism is constantly evolving and coalescing natural influences thus generate a greater need for architects to embellish this concept and adapt it into society. Consequently, does the act of Parametrics design have the ability to fuse natural surroundings into man-made parametric design?
The concepts that are being applied are the amalgamation of justifying the significance of the natural surroundings with the elaborate neighbouring buildings at the Toaster Site. The core message is to outline the principles that illustrate Omega Tower to infuse its natural surroundings and to then have the design manipulated around that concept. The Omega Tower has designed on the basis on studying the surrounding area and to form a natural structural shape around it.
In relation to the theme it can be interpreted to create a relationship between the toaster site and to what the design set out to become. The theme came from natural surroundings and having a site so close to water then the use of having a design that chimes in with the terrain is what was intended. The use of having the site messing into the tower with its curve shape highlighted the buildings significance to the landscape and showed its characteristics of fusing itself with the natural surroundings. The theme also represented the vine design spiralling up the buildings. The building is intended to be growing from the landscape that’s why the decision to have a vertical tower as approved as it was design to manipulate the form to have the wider base messing into the landscape then narrowing up ways then expanding again just like the core natural factors of a tree.
The idea proposal was to generate an engaging design to annotate and resemble a natural growth of a man made parametric structure. The thought process that was conducted for this model is very concise and required the constricted understanding of the landscape to justify main design annotations to help decipher the corrective parametric analysis. The idea was forming a structure through nature elements to aid in interpreting the design to be born from the landscape. In relation to the interior of the building the use of the spiral design was to also reinstate the appearance of the sunlight shadowing into the building and to help with internal diffuse light into the structure. The layer of spiral form is backed up with a layer of glass with that a consistent flow through the building. This is for obvious reason to restrict water coming into the building and will allow the residence to have a direct sunlight around their units.
In annotating the design and to evaluate its representation it can be illustrated that the design has been equipped with the elements such as natural surroundings and neighbouring buildings and has granted itself with the thought process of being born from the landscape.

In relation to material it would be ideal to have it acrylic as I would like to have some sort of lighting system in the middle of the model to explode the aesthetics of the design and to extrude the shape onto the walls and everywhere.
Assignment 2 proposal and site analysis
In relation to the design concept for this task, the aim is to assess the relationship between the landscape and man-made design. The purpose of this study will help annotate the principles of Grasshopper and Rhino to generate an architectural formation that can illustrate the juxtaposition of inventing a solid man-made idea that can be fused into its natural surroundings in a subtle manner.
The aim of this proposal can allow the counterpart of having parametric design being the protagonist which acts as a direct focus and futuristic impression. Parametric architecture is being represented through mainly renowned architects and designers and has influence me to partake in as it has the potential to express magnificent and astonishing designs that manipulate an amalgamation of geometry and shapes.
Within the site location of the model the use of the toaster site or Bennelong Apartments will be the best to convey the concepts of Parametrics and nature seeing how it is situated on the fringe of water. The purpose is to create a hotel, which means will remove everything that is on the site and build the new proposed design concept. Seeing how the toaster site is married closely to the water, the purpose is to gel the new Grasshopper designed model into its surroundings. For instance have an extension of the hotel that is overhanging on the water.
The use of the toaster is prodigious to understand and interpret the design principles and can allow meshing in the proposed design which can show the influence of the landscape with my model. The result that is trying to be attaining depicts having a digital and built model that portrays the principles of Parametrics and to elaborate on achieving the synchronism of the landscape to the design proposal.
In relation to methodology the purpose of this will be pursued to implement the practice of having the fusion between landscape and architectural parametric designs which in turn will cater as functional hotel area. Having the infusion of an innovative technology and natural landscape should in turn represent and reflect a futuristic design that encompasses these two aspects. In terms of spacing time and material management it should be done in a delegate way and have the practice of trying different methods to find out what would best suit the design, for instance the use of waffling would might be the best way to rotating shaped hotel structure.
Overall in attempting to assess the hypothesis it can be annotated that there must be a sense of patience and decorum when it comes to embedding a digital idea to a 3d tangible model. The purpose of fusing the Parametrics and natural landscape can illustrate the hypothesis and succeed in the analyse of having Grasshopper design being generated into real life architectural designs.
